This course is an introduction to motivation, leadership, communications, decision making, and leading people through effective management of human resources (HR), ethics, social responsibility, and managing consumer experiences in the hospitality industry by examining service-driven management foundations. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to: 1. Understand how HR departments analyze resource allocation for jobs and the factors which influence job design. 2. Understand how HR departments determine the most effective methods of recruiting talent. 3. Identify and implement best practices when it comes to interviewing candidates. 4. These include external links, articles, graphics, and videos. Was a little confusing when instructor or materials would reference a textbook but no textbook was listed anywhere in the course. Also there were several typos in the lecture slides and in the transcripts that were distracting.
mismatch between the title of the course and the content....nothing at all about hospitality management, the course explains some very basic low level stuff about HR

It had a great workshop, but unfortunately, I couldn't figure out which book they were referring to when they asked us to read certain chapters.

A short basic introduction, but has content directly from the full class at UNT. Unfortunately some of the questions on the test are not covered in the class and the textbook is referenced several time, but there is no access to it through this class.
