Economics: Society, Markets, and [In]equality will pique your curiosity and inspire you to learn more about the power dynamics that determine how people and resources are valued, how goods move around the world, and how we manage our planet and the future. Your understanding of economics will make you a better advocate, voter, investor, consumer, and citizen. You’ll also develop an understanding of the benefits and drawbacks of our current economic system and get a framework for thinking about how we, as individuals and as a society, can rethink our relationship with our planet and the way we interact with one another.

Very thorough, well organized course that takes you through the basics of economic and societal relationships and the history of economics leading up to the challenges of the modern, globalized market and community. Multi-media components - articles, videos, podcasts, interviews - keep the learner engaged. The time commitment is somewhat understated if learners are expected to get through all required and suggested readings. Shame that certificates are not offered on completion of the course.

There was an overarching review of Economics, but most importantly it was a practical course with a lot of opportunity to process information and craft solutions within every level of economy. I enjoyed all the readings that were presented and would like to revisit as needed. Each of the instructors were very knowledgeable in the subject.
